While we were in Denmark we visited Ribe which is Denmark´s oldest town as well the first capital city. I love this small town and specially when the cars are not allowed on many streets daytime.
It was a little bit rainy, but not could. These two people are my parents, Dad is 80 and Mon three years younger and both still works and travel the globe around.
In Ribe I found a very fabulous shop with all kind of yarn, fabric, cotton etc. I bought some fabrics for quilting a new embroidery kit ( no picture yet)and most importantly linen for the ancient and romantic, which pattern I bought online for some weeks ago. I have been very frustrating because haven´t find enough fine linen here in Stockholm, but now I have it.
I try not start the embroidery before I have done more of my niece´s quilt (queensize). Soon is time to start with the knitting of sock for homeless people. I try to knit about 20 each autumn and some hats too.
Have a lovely time until we sees. I`m heading to city for dinner with
Oh your cats are lovely! I don't have one any more because we go on our boat in summer and I can't leave them.
SvaraRaderaLovely to have a visit from Sweden to my home in New Zealand!
