To Denmark

It was glorious sunshine when we started our drive down to Denmark. I had booked the hotelrooms in Varberg (in southern Sweden), so the drive down was 538 km and it took us nearly 7 hours, two times we had to stay and wait because the rain was so heavy you just couldn´t see anything.

I think it was very strongly done of my 80-years old Dad to drive all the way down. I don´t have drivinglicence because my bad sight and Mom doesn´t drive, only at home (from home to the nearest foodshop). Thankfully I had my pillow with me, sitting nearly 6 hours in car is deathly boring, specially when using motorways.
When we arrived to Varberg it was just sunshine all evening. We are not any partyanimals so after dinner the two older persons started they night and I read Norah Roberts Shadow Spell.
Morning after the Ferry leaved at 8 o´clock, so me ate our morningmeal on the Ferry. Those 4,5 hours on Ferry were very long, not much to do. It was too windy to go out, but not so anyone became ill. Well we three  have perfect sea-stomach so no worry.
In Denmark we had 3 hours drive from Grenå to Blåvand with both sunshine and short rain showers in motorways so you really can´t see anything interesting. After about 30 min in a queue for the key only a 3 minutes drive to the summerhouse, which was very lovely. Big sitting room with kitchen to the left (behind the blue lamps) and two decent size bedrooms.

More about Denmark is coming.
